Overview of the Challenge Families

Level

Level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1) – indicates the teaching level for which these challenges have been developed:

A1 – primary level
A2 – secondary level I
B1, B2 and C1 – secondary level II (sorted by complexity: B1 is recommended for the beginning and C1 for the end of the secondary level II).

Each level builds on the preceding level.

In order to select the right teaching material, you will need to take into consideration your students' individual level of development. Please make sure you also look at the teaching material of the prior level and the following level!

Duration

Time/Length: Each challenge may take up between 2 and 20 periods. To provide orientation we have categorised our challenges as short, medium or long. You will find the exact number of periods required for a specific challenge in the teacher material.

Areas Of Focus

Themes: All challenges are grouped in themes according to their content. Some challenges may be used for several themes.

Challenge Family

Challenge Family: Each challenge belongs to one of the 18 Challenge Families. A Challenge Family may comprise several challenges on different levels.

How do I read the search results?

The filtered results are displayed in a certain manner. The boxes contain certain information that you should know about in order to find the most suitable challenge for your classroom. Click on the challenge of interest to view the details and to download the materials.

Color

The color tells you on which area of the TRIO Model for Entrepreneurship Education the challenge focuses. Yellow stands for Core Entrepreneurial Education. Pink for Entrepreneurial Culture and green for Entrepreneurial Civic Education.

Levels

The levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1) displayed in the header indicate the levels on which this particular challenge exists.

Tags

The tags, the boxes containing your filter settings, gives you information about all the aspects of the challenge. It's like a fact summary and serves as overview.
